Geo-Seas presented at the EGU 2012
More than 11,000 geophysicists from around the world gathered in Vienna - Austria for the General Assembly 2012 of the European Geosciences Union or short EGU 2012. The meeting provided an opportunity for researchers, teachers, students, and consultants to present and review the latest issues affecting the Earth, the planets, and their environments in space.
The EGU 2012 took place 23 to 27 April 2012. Geo-Seas has been presented in the ESSI1.2 oral sessions (Informatics in Oceanography and Ocean Science) on Monday and Tuesday and in the related poster session on Tuesday. Moreover a Splinter Meeting was organised by the Geo-Seas coordinator on Wednesday to discuss further cooperation and synergy with comparable developments in the USA and Australia.
